We are looking forward to our field trip to see Freckleface Strawberry this week based on the book by Julianne Moore. We will leave at 7:40, so please have your child at school by 7:30.
No tests this week due to our field trip and 100th Day of School celebration on Friday!!!
Friday, January 24th is our 100th Day of school! Can you believe it?? I hope you have had time to work on making a shirt or buying one for our celebration!! We will be doing lots of activities that involve 100! I can't wait!!
Next week we have several things going on.....first on Tuesday, we will go into town and tour the Courthouse and have Judge Smithart share with us what his job is and how it effects our community. Paige Smith will also talk to the children about her job. It is so important to show children the important things people in our community do that make it a better place for us to live. Keeping with our Community theme, Sheriff Tyron Smith will be coming to speak to our class about his job. Our unit has been really interesting!! Please send $4 for your child's lunch. We will order pizza and if the weather permits, go to Creektown to eat and play for a bit!!
