Welcome back!! I hope you all have had a great and blessed Thanksgiving holiday. I was so glad to see these kiddos back today! I have missed them! We have three short weeks until our next break, I can hardly believe that Christmas is almost here!
Please be aware of the testing dates on our newsletter! Because of our field trip on Thursday, our testing dates are off. Also, because of the Polar Express Day next Friday, the grammar test is on Thursday. If you have any questions, please let me know!
We will be studying commas as our grammar skill just in time to write letters to Santa this week and next! Talk with your child about his/her list for Christmas! We will be sending them to the Eufaula Tribune', so look for them in the Christmas Edition coming out soon.
Thursday is our field trip to Auburn University's School of Engineering to participate in a STEM activity. We will be making snow!! We are so excited!! Your child will need $8 for lunch. We have ordered them from Chick-fi-la. If you are a parent going, please pay this as well. Thank you to all the parents driving us. Be looking for the map and agenda, I will send out to you!
Thursday evening is also our Christmas program. Mrs. Janice is in need of parent volunteers to help set up and take down props for the program. If you can help in any way, please let us know! Thanks so much!!
Reading- We have started Unit 3 with our first story, Gross Jobs. The test will be next week, on the 10th.
Spelling-We have long a words again. The test will be on the 10th as well.
Grammar-Commas-Test will be on the 12th.
Math-Next test will be on Monday!! The 9th!
